We are building the first cohort now.
We would rather build this with the people who will use it than for them. If that is you, tell us about your room.
Questions
Before you write.
Does it have a screen?
No. There is no display. Every response is spoken, which means nothing on your face can take you out of the room you are in.
Does it cover my ears?
No. The speaker is a grille on the underside of the arm, aimed at your ear rather than into it. Your ear canal stays open, so the real conversation still gets through.
Does it record the people around me?
The microphone is there for timing, not identity. It listens for when someone is speaking so the glasses know to stay out of it. No audio is kept and no faces are learned. More on privacy
Will it talk over people?
No. It speaks only into detected silence, and it drops a cue rather than interrupt. Longer answers come only when you press the temple. Watch it in a conversation
Can I use it with a braille display?
The output layer is abstracted from the speaker. The same cues can arrive on a braille line instead of in your ear.
How do I get a pair?
